The project was taken over for tendering, detailed design and construction management after building permission was granted. The existing residential building was built in 1909 and contained 12 flats. In the courtyard there was an old building permit for an annex building.

The flats were completely renovated. The castling of the kitchens made it possible to install additional wet rooms. A two-storey extension was built in the courtyard, which contains the kitchen and living space and thus extends the two lowest garden flats. The upper flats also have balconies and a terrace on the courtyard side. In the mansard roof, the existing screed area was dissolved, the existing flat extended and made accessible with wet rooms.

During the construction, attention was paid to the existing materials. The existing wooden floors were preserved by sanding and resealing. The wooden panelling and interior doors were restored and highlighted with a soft grey colour. The best interior doors were replaced in new locations. In this way, the character of the old building was preserved despite spatial adaptations.
